Help!

I have a party coming up and my ex will be there. I want to wear a beautiful, chiffon, vintage prom dress but is it too much if its not my birthday? My legs are my best asset so am I mad to cover them? ...Its mid-calf. Its a pale peach colour but I am pale skinned and freckled so would it work with my skintone or will I have to go down the fake tan route? Agh!!!! This is so confusing!

Wouldn't it be amazing if someone invented a machine that you could buy and you could try on your outfit and then step inside it and it would scan you and tell you exactly what was working and what was crap about your outfit and even suggest changes you could make.
I wish someone would invent one!
